Annual Membership Meeting

The Annual meeting of the Vedanta Society of Portland will be held on Thursday, November 19, at 7:45 PM. It will begin with a short reading. All members are encouraged to attend.

Celebrations This Month

This month are birthday anniversaries of three direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna. The headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission in India website offers descriptions of each of the disciples' lives. This month Swami Shantarupananda returns from his seven-week pilgrimage to India. Those interested can view his itinerary here.

Retreat

There will be no services at the Retreat Temple near Scappoose. However, the services will resume in the Spring.
